General :

  • Download the App

  • Register your home details (including address, how big your house is and your valid credit card details)

  • Once your Post Code is entered the App will automatically generate the cleaners available in your area.

  • Enter the day or week that you would like your clean to take place

  • A list of cleaners available during that time will be displayed

  • Review the list of cleaners and choose the one you like the sound of and suits your needs

  • Book the cleaner and inform them of how they can access your house (will you be home? Or will you leave a key out?)

  • You will then be sent a confirmation notification

  • Once the cleaner is booked, the App will allow you to have private discussions with the cleaner whereby you can ask them any questions you may have and confirm location of the key etc.

*Also note that you will be sent reminder notifications advising you of the exact time your cleaner will be arriving and you will also be able to track your cleaner via GPS on the App to see how far away they are.

No problem! Simply click the ‘forgotten password’ link on the login screen. When you enter your email address, we will send you a link to create a new password.

We would love you to join the team. If you are looking for plenty of work, are passionate about helping people keep their homes clean and tidy, if you have experience with cleaning and are highly competent in your finishing touches… Then all you will need is;

  • Your own ABN

  • Current Police Check (obtained in the last 6 months)

  • Your own cleaning equipment and transport&

  • A smart phone with access to data so you can utilise the App

You can use this system knowing that all FlashMop cleaners have the following;

  • Their own ABN &

  • Current Police Check (obtained in the last 6 months)

Better still, unique to FlashMop is the process of cleaner reviews and star ratings.

We know that everyone wants a cleaner who has been recommended to them by friends or family (not a random that you know nothing about!). It is therefore really important that you take the time to review the cleaner comments and reviews of those available in your area so you know others have been pleased with their work and would recommend them to you. In return, it is also critical that you review your cleaner after they have Flashed through your place!

On conclusion of your FlashMop clean, you will be prompted via email and a notification on the App to review your cleaner and give them a star rating out of 5 (1 = a very poor clean, 5= a great clean). Others booking cleaners will then be able to review your ratings to ensure all households have some ownership over who they are selecting to clean their home and how they have performed at other local households.

My Clean :

This will vary depending on the size of the house. We train our cleaners to work very efficiently and effectively and as such we do not nominate particular timeframes. This may vary slightly between cleaners and how much attention is needed in particular parts of the house. Rest assured that the cleaner won’t leave until your home is sparkling!

Ensuring that you are happy with your clean and would recommend our service and your cleaner to others is extremely important to us!

Our cleaners work very hard to ensure each and every home owner is happy with their clean, but in the case something isn’t left to a high standard we encourage you to do the following:

  • Contact us on support@flashmop.com.au and attach photos of the areas of the house you believe are not up to scratch.

  • Review your clean via the App, this will then notify the cleaner that something was not left in a good enough condition.

  • The cleaner will then have the opportunity to contact you and make arrangements to get it sorted out prior to the bad review been published (the cleaner has a maximum of 3 days to rectify any bad reviews prior to them been published).

  • Keep in mind that the whole ‘cleaner recommendation’ system that we work with via the FlashMop App is based off your reviews and these are taken very seriously by the cleaner and also those booking cleaners.

  • If the issue is rectified and you are now satisfied, you can alter your review to ensure the integrity of the system is kept to a high standard.

Yes, you sure can. This can be done via the App. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, you will not be charged and can reschedule for another appropriate time. If you cancel within 24 hours of the booking time you will be charged a 50% administration fee. I’m sure you can understand that cleaners would have most likely turned down other jobs in order to fill yours, therefore we feel it only fair for them to receive a token payment for reserving the time for you.

No, All FlashMop cleaners will be equipped with everything they need to make your home sparkle.

If there is a special product that you would like them use due to allergies, special surfaces or you simply prefer a particular brand, please leave a note for your cleaner if you are not home or leave a message for them via the ‘private message’ section of the App. They can always contact you if they have any specific queries.

This is completely up to you. With most people working during the day we envisage that majority of people perhaps won’t be able to be home. Don’t stress! Please remember that all FlashMop Cleaners are registered with their own ABN, have a current police check and appropriate/ current insurance. They have also completed the FlashMop induction process and are fully aware of their responsibilities.

Please remember to select the appropriate information when making your booking via the App. If you select the option ‘I won’t be home’ you must leave very specific instruction as to where you are leaving the key or the key box pin code. If this information isn’t clear to the cleaner and they cannot get access to the property, you will be charged.

Payments :

All prices are set according to the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home. These are fixed prices. Please note that you will only be charged once you have confirmed all the details and the clean has occurred.
