This Privacy Policy governs between FlashMop and You (as our user/client/customer/cleaner) regarding the information of data you provide with us. This Privacy outlines how we collect your personal information and how we use it.

What kind of Information we collect.

FlashMop uses information that we collect from our Users and Cleaners to personalise and improve your experience at the Site. We gather the following types of information:

  1. Information You Give to Us:We Collect Personal Information that is provided by Site users. “Personal Information” includes your name, address, telephone number, credit or debit card information, e-mail address, &IP address. Personal Information is collected when you establish an account with us, place an order on the Site, or when you communicate with any of our departments such as customer service, sales or technical services through the Site, telephone, mail or fax. For cleaners we will will collect certain additional information such as ABN, Police Clearance, driver’s license and other applicable required information.

  2. Transactions:If you made a booking via the booking platform, you will be required to provide contact, billing, and payment information.

  3. Computer /Mobile Information: Through the use of cookies, we may also collect and analyze the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet; computer and connection information such as your browser type and version; operating system and platform; purchase history; confirmation when you open e-mail that we send you; and the URLs which lead you to and around the Site including the date and time. You can generally set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when you are sent a cookie. Software is also available from third parties which will allow you to visit the Site without providing this information. You are welcome to use the Site if you use such software but we will not be able to offer you our personalized services and we will be unable to accept any online orders from you. Computer in this clause shall include mobile devices that are capable of mobile computing.

  4. With respect to geo-location data we track through your Mobile Device, we use that geo-location information for various purposes – including for you to be able to view the Cleaners in your area and their precise location prior to arrival time, for you to set your location, to send you promotions and offers, and to allow you (if you choose through any features we may provide) to share this information with other people. Except as otherwise permitted in this Privacy Policy, we will not share this information with third parties for any purpose and will only use this information for the sole purpose of providing you with the ability to request a cleaner via our Mobile Application. You may at any time no longer allow our Mobile Application to use your location by turning this feature off at the Mobile Device level.

Using your Personal Information.

We use the personal information for the completion and support of the activity for which the information was provided, such as allowing access to our services, processing or fulfilling a booking, or responding to your requests or inquiries; this also includes website and system administration, such as for the technical support of the Site and its computer system, including processing computer account information, information used in the course of securing and maintaining the site and verification of the users.

We may also use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • verifying your identity

  • providing you with our products or services;

  • providing you with information in relation to the use of our products or services;

  • administering and managing those products or services, including charging, billing and collecting debts;

  • conducting appropriate checks for credit-worthiness;

  • promoting and marketing our products or services to you;

  • internal management purposes, complaint handling, planning, quality assurance and audit purposes;

  • to provide products and services to you, to provide you with information about those products and services, to assist you with enquiries or purchases, to enhance your experience on our network, or to provide you with better service; and

You agree that FlashMop will disclose your Personal Information, including your name and address to the Cleaner in order for the Cleaner to carry out the Cleaning Services.

Payment Gateway.

The 3rd party payment gateway used in order to make and receive payments via the FlashMop booking platform is called ‘Stripe’. By agreeing to the FlashMop Privacy Policy you are also agreeing to the Privacy statement outlined via ‘Stripe’. Protecting and Maintaining Personal Information

Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. We will take all reasonable steps to protect the information We hold about you from unauthorized access, use and disclosure, however We cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information, or that our systems will be completely free from third party interception or are incorruptible from viruses. We cannot and do not guarantee that information you send from your computer to us over the Internet will be protected by any form of encryption (encoding software). In light of this, We cannot and do not ensure or warrant the security or privacy of your personal information, including payment and account details. You transmit your personal information to us at your own risk.

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security of your passwords and/or account information.

Disclosure of Personal Information.

We will not otherwise disclose any personal information without your consent except under the following circumstances:

  1. in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims.

  2. if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, violation of our policies, or as otherwise required by law; and

  3. if FlashMop, or a related asset or line of business is acquired by, transferred to or merged with another company.

How do we protect your Personal Information.

We endeavor to keep your personal information confidential and protected against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration through the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards via the website and app. The personal and demographic information about each user is stored on systems that are subject to appropriate physical and electronic security measures, and we limit employee access to and use of such information.

Third Parties

The Site may contain links to third party websites including the networks of our valued affiliate service providers, advertisers, and PayPal, or make available services obtained from third parties, including verification services by third party verification providers. If you follow a link to any of these websites, for instance PayPal payment system, or use any services obtained from third party service providers via the Site that requires you to provide personal information (including sensitive information if relevant) directly to such third parties (for instance third party verification providers), note that they have their own privacy policies. If you use our Site to link to another site, or use a service obtained from a third party service provider via the Site, you will be subject to that site’s or third party’s terms and conditions of use, privacy policy and security statement. FlashMop does not control, and does not accept any responsibility or liability for, the privacy policy of, and use of personal information by, any party other than FlashMop, including any user of the Site, the operators of any website to which the Site links, or third party service providers to whom you directly provide your personal information (including sensitive information if relevant) to.

If FlashMop is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, We will give affected users of the Site notice before their personal information is transferred to another entity or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

FlashMop does not control, and does not accept any respoThird-party vendors, including Google, may show FlashMop ads on sites across the Internet.

For the avoidance of doubt, if you use any verification services made available by FlashMop via its Site, that is not performed by FlashMop but a third party verification provider, then any personal information (including sensitive information if relevant) that you provide as required by that third party in order to perform its verification services, will be collected directly by the relevant third party verification provider and will not be collected, handled, stored or otherwise used by FlashMop. FlashMop will only receive your verification status from the third party verification provider (for example, ‘granted’ or ‘not granted’ or such other like status) in order to issue any relevant Verification Badge on the Site. The use and handling of personal information (including sensitive information if relevant) remains the responsibility of the third party verification provider under its own privacy policy.

Marketing.

When you register on the Site you are automatically ‘opting in’ to receive updates on our latest services, news and special offers, and those of our valued affiliate service providers (“Marketing Material”), via your FlashMop account, personal e-mail address, post or telephone.

FlashMop uses Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online. Using the Ads Settings in a personal Google account, visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads.

Marketing FlashMop and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimise, and serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the FlashMop website.

Using the Ads Settings in a personal Google account, visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads.

FlashMop reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide notification of the material changes to this Privacy Policy through our web sites or through the app at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.
